Cottage Computers® is an independently
owned and operated Computer Retail Store and
Service Center located in Berkeley Heights,
NJ. The company sells computers, associated
peripherals (printers, scanners, digital cameras,
etc. etc.), software, and supplies at discount
prices. In addition the company services and
upgrades IBM compatible systems, both those
purchased from Cottage Computers® as well
as those obtained elsewhere. No one is paid
on commission so there is never any pressure
on customers to make an immediate purchase
or sales people to meet a sales quota. Cottage
Computers' focus is on helping the customer
determine what they want in a system - whether
it be a high end system or a simple PC and
providing quality service after the sale.
Most people visiting the store are either
repeat customers or have had Cottage Computers®
recommended to them by friends or business
colleagues through word of mouth. |

| Company Background |

Dupre' Enterprises, Inc.
(the name under which Cottage Computers
is incorporated) was established in 1981.
The company began as the retail spin off
of Electronic Control Technology, Inc. a
custom computer manufacturer established
in 1975.
Nancy Dupre', the Store
Manager from 1985 to 2003, began working
with computers as a planning analyst at
Exxon Corporation. Dennis Dupre', the Service
Manager from 1981 to 2003, is an Electrical
Engineer with a background in designing
and manufacturing computers and electronic
controls. Dennis and Nancy Dupre' who owned
the business for almost 24 years retired
going into the 2004 year with a transition
of Eric Lange becoming the new owner. Eric
Lange who has worked at Cottage Computers
as a Senior Technician from 1997 to 2002,
then in 2003 became the Service Manager.
In early 2004 he took over Cottage Computers
as the President/Owner. |
